Lovely village inn with friendly and accommodating staff. We came here to rest after walking the ridgeway and was a most welcome sight.The village of Kingston Lyle is quintessentially English.
Good food great pint ..all the plates was empty..dog welcome. Great little pub in wonderful part of Oxfordshire.
We had a superb lunch at the Blowing Stone in Kingston Lisle.The local beer was great and the staff were all really nice and helpful. What more could you ask for from a country pub? we
Pleasant relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed the pianist playing whilst we ate. Food was of a high standard. Good sized garden. Friendly staff. Nearby to attractions such as the Uffington White horse and Ashdown House.
Lovely place, nice people, great food, reasonably priced. Four of us are mains, with drinks and couple of desserts for less than 90! The owner was very welcoming and chatty. Recently changed hands, and by the sounds of it for the better. They do have three rooms upstairs. Homemade ice cream was very nice. Definitely recommend
