Alfred's Lodge was the perfect place to stay whilst visiting friends in the area. The building and individual rooms are very clean and well presented. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a decent amount of on site parking. Breakfast was cooked to a pre-arranged schedule and was excellent with a wide range of hot and cold items.
The building is lovely. Stayed 2 nights. The vegetarian breakfast was very tasty and our hostess went above and beyond by offering us almond milk and letting us to try new vegan foods.Our only issue was that the mattresses were a little soft for us.
