Great little Tea rooms set in a quiet location overlooking the Vale of the White Horse, that serve up really nice hot (basic, not posh) food dishes at very reasonable prices and some of the best home made cakes around. Staff are all very friendly. Ideal place to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet with fantastic views thrown in for free. Highly recommend it.
Took two of my grandchildren who were staying at Court Hill on a Woodcraft folk event. Fantastic location! Right above Wantage - with stunning views - and plenty of things to do. The kids had a great time and enjoyed the center very much. Very friendly people running it, and the Woodcraft volunteers made sure the kids had a great time. I would like to stay one day too - although, I'm not sure if there's a pub within walking distance, unfortunately!
