I bought an apple pie from the market on Saturday. It was very well wrapped up put in a bag. I put it away still wrapped up in the cupboard. Later I warmed it up and found a fly in the pie filling. This is disgusting and also indicates that the pie filling is not fresh because obviously there aren't flies around at this time of year. And there is no possibility that the fly got in the filling while it was sitting on the table in the market because it was in the pie filling. I also bought bread which I will throw out because I question whether or not it is safe to eat. It is disgusting because flies are filthy and lay eggs on food that is sitting around without being covered up.
Fantastic pastries at a very reasonable price. Not open to the public but we regularly get orders from them. Very friendly and pleasant staff.
